A charmingly named whisky from Càrn Mòr.
‘Two Speysiders by a Stream’ refers to the fact that this whisky contains spirit from two Speyside distilleries that sit next to the River Fiddich, in Dufftown. Officially a mystery blended malt, the likelihood is the bottling comprises of spirit from Balvenie “teaspooned” with a little Glenfiddich.
The bottling was drawn from two Hogsheads, having been aged for 6 years, with the spirit distilled in 2011 and bottled in 2017.
The final result is a richly honeyed and flavoursome whisky, with notes of nutmeg, cloves, vanilla, cream, toffee, apples, pears, toasted malt, hazelnuts, milk chocolate, black tea, caramel and gentle oak.
Classic Dufftown flavours. This whisky is bottled at 46% ABV, and without chill filtration or colouration, ensuring that the natural qualities of the spirit take centre stage.
Just 915 bottles were produced.
