Ron Del Barrilito have been in the rum business since the 1880s, so should know a thing or two about putting together a top notch spirit.
This bottling has been made using molasses, and distilled in column stills. After distillation the spirit is aged for between 3 to 5 years in “vintage” oak barrels.
The final result is a fruity rum with notes of plums, apricot, almond, walnut, some smoked wood, brown sugar, a little fresh sugar cane, vanilla and toffee.
Easy drinking over ice, but also excellent in cocktails.
