The second release in Morrison and Mackay’s Blended Malt series.

The Old Perth brand pays homage to the Scottish (not Australian!) city of Perth, which had a large blending industry from the 18th century until the end of the 20th.

An excellent blended malt that includes spirit from some very prestigious distilleries, this whisky has been finished for a period in red wine casks.

This finishing process has lent the final product notes of chocolate, toasted oak, spice and rich red berries, which accompany the underlying flavours of vanilla, biscuity malt, toffee, flowers, apple and honey.

The whisky is bottled at cask strength of 62.3% ABV, and without chill filtration or colouration, ensuring an intense flavour and thick mouthfeel.

Another excellent whisky from Morrison and Mackay.
