A spritely bottling of single grain whisky from Edinburgh based distillery, North British.
Distilled in 2007, this whisky has picked up enough age to round off the spirit’s rougher edges.
This dram is cereal forward, with notes of bright barley and husk, alongside some flavours of citrus, spice, mint and succulent melon with a little clear honey.
The whisky enjoys a slight bump in proof, to 43% ABV, and is a refreshing, yet warming dram.
It also represents excellent value for money, and would be an ideal option for budding bartenders who want to add whisky-cocktails to their repertoire.
