Mystery Speyside 43 Year Old 1966 (Cask #3336) - The Ultimate Whisky Company
70 cl, 42.9%

A mysterious, yet delicious single malt bottling from Dutch bottling outfit, The Ultimate Whisky Company.

Distilled in 1966 (a great year for English football and Scottish whisky) and bottled in 2010, this whisky has been aged for an incredible 43 years old in a single Hogshead (no. 3336), this is a dignified and powerful whisky.

The dram is packed with dense oaky flavours of leather, vanilla, chocolate, coffee, spice, dried fruits, rum and raisin ice cream, caramel, mahogany, saw dust, malt, stone fruit, and anise.

Bottled at a low cask strength of 42.9% ABV, these weaker cask strength whiskies can be some of the most delicious. The dram is also presented without chill filtration or colouration.

After such a long maturation, just 185 bottles could be produced.

One of the finest bottlings produced by the Ultimate Whisky Company, this whisky’s origin might be unknown, but what isn’t is its high quality.
