Another fantastic whisky from Dutch bottlers the Ultimate Whisky Company.

This time we head to the Isle of Mull, and Tobermory’s peated malt, Ledaig.

Ledaig is known for its incredibly maritime and slightly oily spirit, and this 2010 vintage single cask is no exception. The whisky was distilled on the 21st of June 2010 and bottled on the 21st of February 2017, having been aged in a single first fill former Bourbon barrel (number 700322) for 6 years.

The power of the first fill cask works superbly alongside the peaty spirit, imparting delicious cinnamon, caramel and vanilla flavours to the maritime and smoky whisky. The whisky benefits from being bottled without chill filtration or artificial colouration, and at 46% ABV.

Just 303 bottles of this island malt were produced.
