Originally created in the early 1830s by Archibald Lauder for his bar, the Lauder’s blend is one of the more historic and highly regarded blended whisky brands.
Lauder’s claim that this is the “crowning achievement of over 180 years of Lauder’s tradition”. The bottling is made with specially selected malt and grain whiskies from around Scotland, which have been aged for a minimum of 25 years in former sherry and Bourbon oak barrels.
The final result is a well balanced, complex and dignified blend. Lauder’s 25 year old offers up flavours of: rich dried fruit, heather honey, malt, leather, supple oak, sweet grain, toffee, banana, mango, and apricot.
