Following on from the enormous success of Diageo’s Game of Thrones series of single malts, the Scotch whisky giants have produced a further two Johnnie Walker blends based upon the HBO series: Johnnie Walker a Song of Fire, and Johnnie Walker a Song of Ice.

A Song of Fire is produced with a high quantity of peated Caol Ila malt whisky, and is said to be inspired by the fearsome dragons of House Targaryen – one of the most powerful Great Houses in the series.

The final result is a rich, smoky whisky with notes of peat, orchard fruits, peach, honey, caramel, oak, grain sweetness, dried fruits and iodine.

The dram is presented in a bottle featuring the fiery visage of a Targaryen dragon.
