First introduced in the 1960s, by George Urquhart, Connoisseurs Choice pioneered the very idea of an independent bottler of single malts, in a market where blended whisky was entirely dominant. Ever since, the range has allowed whisky fans the world over to taste spirit from distilleries they would otherwise never encounter. This gift set of three 50ml samples demonstrates the depth and variety of G & M’s inventory, including a smoky, bracing Caol Ila 2004, a nutty, spicy 2002 Tomatin, and a clean, elegant, fruity Inchgower from 2007, all of which were bottled in 2016. Each of these whiskies is presented at 46% ABV, without chill filtration or artificial colouration.
