This is a rare malt bottling of a whisky that forms the backbone of Ballantines, Teachers and Chivas Regal- flavouring some of the very top blends in the business. The Ultimate Whisky Company have a great track record of picking excellent casks, and this is no exception. This whisky is drawn from a single bourbon (cask no. 1401) after a maturation period of 19 years, and is limited to 239 bottles. It is, as with all Ultimate bottlings, non-chillfiltered and natural colour. Drinkers can expect typical Glentauchers wax, with plentiful honey and fudge notes, and a good serving of vanilla. An interesting and rare dram- not to be missed!
