Another top notch bottling from Gordon & MacPhail’s Connoisseurs Choice range. This time round they’ve picked out a cask of spirit from Glendullan distillery, a Dufftown distillery known for producing a light and grassy style of spirit.

A 2004 vintage, this dram was matured in 14 years in a single first fill Bourbon barrel, having been bottled on the 5th of September 2019. The intensity of the cask, in addition to the length of maturation, perfectly complements Glendullan’s fruity housestyle.

Drinkers can expect notes of lime rind, vanilla, baked apples and pears, some toasty oak, cinnamon, nutmeg, almonds, hazelnut, white chocolate, grassy malt, white sugar, orange rind and lemon juice. Tonnes of fantastic Bourbon barrel character here.

The dram has been bottled at a robust cask strength of 57.5% Abv and without chill filtration or colouration, ensuring a fully flavoured and natural whisky.

A rare treat, just 198 bottles were produced.
