A terrific 25 year old small batch bottling of Glenburgie from Signatory Vintage’s Cask Strength range.

Glenburgie is one of the more (sadly) overlooked distilleries in Speyside, and is something of a hidden gem, if you’re in the know.

This dram, which has been aged in a pair of Hogsheads, perfectly illustrates the distillery’s sweet and sometimes weighty style.

The final product is a whisky that delivers flavours of baked orchard fruits, cinnamon, some freshly chopped herbs, apple candy, vanilla, cherries, spiced oak, toffee, roasted malt, a little leather, ginger and blonde tobacco leaves.

Only 383 bottles of this complex and flavoursome whisky were produced.
