A nice small batch bottling from Glen Elgin, bottled by Signatory Vintage for their Un-Chillfiltered range.

Glen Elgin is known for using old fashioned worm tubs, which add complexity and weight to the new make.

This dram was distilled on the 1st of May 2007, and bottled on the 5th of February 2020, having rested for 12 years in a couple of Hogshead casks.

The final product is a fresh, fruity whisky which delivers notes of grassy malt, apples, lemons, flowers, liquorice spice, honey, vanilla, dusty oak and orange juice.

Bottled at 46% ABV and without chill filtration or colouration, this is fruity and satisfying summertime whisky.
