A lovely, Port cask twist on this traditional Antiguan rum.

This rum was aged initially in Bourbon barrels for five years, before being finished for a time in Port casks. The spirit is produced in small batches, and bottled at a warming 46%.

The result is a rather sweet rum that brings flavours of dark fruits, liquorice, jammy berries, a little ginger, molasses, toffee, vanilla, oak, sweet red wine, tannins and dark chocolate.

Medium bodied, and easy sippin’, this would make an interesting daily drinker.
