A smoky offering form Black Bottle’s Alchemy Series, this whisky contains peaty whisky from the Scottish islands.

A little like the Black Bottle of old (the original was reformulated in 2013, much to the chagrin of certain whisky fans), this expression contains a combination of peated malt whiskies and unpeated grain.

The result is a dram that serves up notes of smoked toffee, dark chocolate, cinnamon, tar, sea spray, vanilla, clean grain and burnt sandalwood.

Bottled at 46.3% ABV, this dram has good body and depth.
