In the last few years, Benrinnes has gone from dark horse distillery, to full blown cult favourite. The whisky has become known for its unctuous and delicious spirit created by their practice of partial triple distillation (which ceased in 2007). Benrinnes has long been highly valued by blenders, and is rarely seen as a single malt.

This fantastic bottling has been selected the good folk over at the Ultimate Whisky Company. This Benrinnes was first distilled on the 17th of October 1997 and bottled on the 25th of July 2017, a little off two months from being 20 years old. The whisky was matured in a Hogshead (cask no. 9409), creating a malt whisky of exquisite complexity, rich in beautiful stone fruit notes, toffee’d malt, bright cereal flavours and dusty oak.

>This whisky has been bottled at 46% ABV, ensuring the integrity of the flavours and mouthfeel, whilst it is totally free from any chill filtration or artificial colouration. Just 328 bottles of this single cask Benrinnes are available worldwide, making this a real rarity and unique experience.
