First introduced in 1851 by Arthur Bell, who was seeking to produce a more consistent whisky. Bell was a bit of a pioneer in the business, and was the first whisky blender to appoint an agent in London to advocate for his spirit. This whisky is one of the best selling blends in the UK, and features a high proportion of malt in the blend. At the heart of this blend are the esteemed malts Blair Athol, Caol Ila, Inchogower, Glenkinchie and Dufftown. These give this whisky a wonderful depth, whilst softening the spirituous qualities of the grain spirit. A much improved blend, offering considerable quality at an excellent price.
