The 8th edition of Walsh Whiskey’s super popular Writers’ Tears Cask Strength bottling.

A vatting of Single Pot Still and Single Malt Irish whiskies, this dram has been aged in Bourbon barrels, producing a rich, warming and fully flavoured Irish whiskey. The spirit in this bottling has been triple distilled.

The 2018 edition serves up flavours of cereal sweetness, milk chocolate, flowers, honey, grassy malt, raspberries, peaches, vanilla, toasted nuts, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, clove and peppery alcohol.

The whiskey is bottled at a munificent cask strength of 53% ABV, ensuring a full bodied and intense dram.

A top quality Irish whiskey, just 5,175 bottles were released, each signed by Bernard Walsh, the founder of the company.
