A special edition Exceptional raspberry eau-de-vie from Nusbaumer.

As raspberry is a delicate fruit, it is macerated for a month with grape brandy, using 16kg for fruit per litre of alcohol. The spirit is then distilled in a traditional small copper still, followed by a second distillation with additional raspberries.

The brandy is then aged in stainless steel barrels for two years to ensure freshness of flavour.

Drinkers should expect flavours of fresh flowers, sweet raspberry wine, grapes, cherries, subtle almonds, a little black pepper and white sugar.

Bottled at a warming proof of 45% ABV, this is perfect for after dinner with desert, or use in cocktails.
