The Speyside distillery of Glenfarlcas remains one of our very favourites here at Fine Drams. A family owned distillery, they do not use any artificial colouring in their whiskies, and spend very little on marketing, preferring to let their whiskies do the talking. The distillery has a strong house style of spicy Christmas cake that is present in all their bottlings.

Indeed, this style is perhaps no more evident than in this bottling. A rich and rambunctious dram, this whisky is packed with notes of dried fruit, sherried spices, toffee, stewed apples, sweet wine, oak and creamy vanilla. Bottled at an extraordinary strength of 60% ABV, this really allows the classic Glenfarclas profile to take hold.

This whisky remains fantastic value for money, even more son in this larger bottle, and is a real winter warming which will keep you going long into the night.
